This was a blast.
We saw 4 fabulous ponds in about 3 hours. Harvey Fell was full of helpful information. It was good to see our friends Steve and Peg again. We were pleasantly suprised to see Bob Trostel, our friend Jen Trostel's (formerly Jen Jacobson of the SAAB connection) husband as the gracious provider of wine and good spirits. I'd met Bob once or twice some time ago, I'd be suprised if he remembered me as I must have been quit eyoung then. We hadn't expected to know anyone except maybe the Castoranis and here we knew 3 people right off the bat. It certainly relaxed things for us... or maybe it was the wine?

Viewing the ponds at night was very interesting. Firstly it was cooler, and so much more comfortable than it would have been during the hot day. That alone made it better for me. But overall it is simply a different experience and one not to be missed. The pictures are not great, but they say it better than I can right now.
