This was my only real "design" complaint. The flange-joint you see here is too far forward. I admit you cna't tell from the picture, but it doesn't take advantage of the flared and wider portion of the exhaust tunnel. As a result, it wants to rub against the underbody. All it would have taken to avoid the issue completely would be to have moved the flange joint back about 1". Plenty of room there.
