It was a cooked bearing. See pictures of the damage here. Figure out why the car died on me in Pittsburgh. Symptoms include problems keeping it running in low speed corners. Sputtered and died repeatedly in the race after and in corners, even high speed ones. Would refire but then die again shortly thereafter. Thoughts... fuel or fire, for sure. But which? Was the fuel cell vent hose pinched? Was there a loose wire on the coil? |
